A longitudinal area disposed in a corner having one of its side facades facing a high traffic street. Thus, solutions were necessary in order to allow the house to see the street but not the street to see the interior of the house. For that reason, different visual shields were placed in front of the house, such as the screen, the brise-soleil and garden, that brought the project identity and at the same time freedom. Due to the implementation the architectural concept unfolds having in its principles, the elaboration of a house that could be more open and ventilated without compromising users' privacy. The intimate and collective rooms are separated in two floors, ground and superior, vertically integrated by the double height ceiling above the living room. The winter garden is occupied by a jabuticabeira and also provides interaction among the opened and closed rooms. The ventilation of the house is favored due to the presence of double height ceiling on living and dining rooms. Another source of ventilation is the winter garden, which has in its center a jabuticabeira. The lighting comes partially in the house rooms through the brise-soleil of the front facade. The project contains plans with specific materials that will give finishing to the house. Plans made of wood as a panel, door and gate in rusty metal material in contrast to a colorless glass profile facade will give the project a unique language. The front facade also features a brise-soleil in white that comes in contact with a surface that serves as a visual screen to the living room. For the elaboration of this project a research about the finishing materials was made which gave the house a variety of materials but yet keeping some aesthetics resemblance between themselves. Another peculiar aspect of the house is the abundance of green and open areas, but with distinct characteristics. The front and side gardens are used as a form of visual screen. The rear of the house is used as the leisure area and there is also a contemplative garden and an orchard.
