L’Oréal is the global market leader in cosmetics. The company, which is rich in tradition, is present in 130 countries and has some 69,000 employees. L’Oréal has been active in Russia since 1990, where it has more than 1,000 employees. The task was to design L'oreal Academy based on a program while making it of light, fashionable, trendy and stylish with a touch of technology. Proposed layout is based on the conditions of the existing space: fitting the maximum number of classes, placing entry reception equidistant from all classrooms, combining a cafe and waiting area as a welcoming spot close to reception. The core of the space contains mostly spaces that do not require natural light. While perimeter is a set of glass classes with windows facing one of the best central neighborhoods. In fact all L'oreal products are created to make people beautiful, so Aesthetic idea was to give a sense of belonging to the beauty and fashion industry while keeping a balance with the functionality of education. The idea of the podium, stage, backstage sets the tone for the design language. Compositional dominant is a crumpled structure (parametrical polygonal structure) in the middle of the space (association for the stage backdrop). This structure helps to a void typical "corridor" spaces. On a contrast with this structure - classes themselves are made in minimalistic style and shape, so as to help students concentrate on study. All other spaces are dynamic and have different textures and designs to inspire visitors and students.
