The park (3,6 ha) has been designed and realized in the neglected area which used to be a base for the housing estate built in the 80s in Czechowice – Dziedzice, a mining town with 40 thousands residents in Silesian Region of Poland. Designed in the degraded area, due to a wide range of recreational possibilities it gives, the public park has become an attraction for users of different age groups. What is more, it has brought a fresh and contemporary dimension for this part of the town. A compositional base of the park is comprised by an elliptical square with a scenic lawn giving a starting point for a number of promenades. A designed skate park with a graffiti wall, a playground, recreational points, an outdoor gym as well as a group of sports fields constitute main attractions of the place.
