The new Satellite Terminal at Barcelona Airport has a capacity of 20 million passengers per year. It is located between two landing runways parallel to the sea. The building will be limited to passenger traffic Schengen and no Schengen European Union. The access of the passengers to Satellite will be through Terminal 1 by all possible transportation means: taxi, private cars, metro and light rail. With 16 aircraft parking positions on the platform it offers maximum flexibility to absorb the future increasing demand. Client: AENA Total area: 80,000 sqm
