A project for the design and build of a pavilion in commemoration of the centenary of WW1. The pavilion is representative of a series of monumental tombstone-like forms that pay homage to the numerous fallen but unnamed soldiers of the war and provides a place for all those affected by the events of WW1 to pay their respects and come together in remembrance. Sited in the grounds of Dunham Massey, Manchester which was converted into a temporary hospital for soldiers injured on the front-line. The poetry depicted on the panels is written by 7 of the soldiers admitted during the war and the larger text represents the various regiments present on the battlefield and who passed through the hospital.
