Positioned on the top floor of an office building in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Isshiki International Law is a renovation project completed in 2011. Adjoining the open plan office is a large external balcony whose placement drove the majority of the internal arrangement. Positioning of private meeting rooms next to the balcony creates a sense of openness, while transparent internal partitions allow light to filter deep into the floor plate. Project architect: Keiji Ashizawa, Kentaro Yamaguchi Graphic Design: Belle Blau Photo: Takumi Ota
