Energy saver series lamps
Spain / 2013
5
The energy saver series lamps came from the challenge of highlighting the positive qualities of the infamous energy saver light bulb. Using the double spiral structure as a base we can create a lamp attaching some very simple elements. The modularity of the system allows a vast array of iterations.
The long life expectancy of this technology, 10 years, makes this construction honest and relevant.
The lamps present fully articulated parts in a vast array of iterations in different materials from wood veneer to a mirrored plastic/wood sandwich material developed in studio.
The concept was selected to represent Spain for BID12, Iberoamerican Biennale of Design.
