“LES PARELLADES” KINDERGARTEN

The area is situated in the north of the center of Sant Pere de Ribes, with no slope topography, bordering a national road. The building is lined with the north south orientation making the maximum of the classroom orientated towards the south. In the East and West sides the rest of the functional systems can be found. The main access is on the eastern side. This access is produced through the area of the porch which can be closed with sliding doors just in case. It also can be used as an indoor playground, apart of the actual need of the space. All the classrooms have their own exterior spaces, the playgrounds of the southern side are the basic service to the classrooms and all large green space to the north it’s the outside space for the kids, its extension allows the interior space give a expression of independence. An industrialized constructive system makes the volume of the inside, four turns held up by large bars allow to identify the inside area and gives singularity in the nursery. A set of transfused and transparent materials, as well as constructive systems that integrate the vegetation configure the exterior walls.
