Description: Become a landmark of history as evidence! Yinchuan Exhibition Center is developed in Yinchuan, Ningxia, North-Weats of China. Ningxia for long time has a great culture influence of Muslim Style. Around the whole city you can find this culture present. Yinchuan Government is planning a new CBD (central Bussines District) As a new extension of this city and where the project is located. Yinchuan Urban Planning Exhibition Hall Design: We break through in the conventional planning Museum design, taking into consideration the history and the culture of this city. This 5floors museum building with 32m high and 25 302m2 is being Planned with a reasonable functionality partition, and a new way of arrangement for the visiting flow. He lan sculpture is one of the creative point to develop the project. Helan stone is the head of the five treasures of Ningxia; Helan Yan is "one end of the Xi three Helan" world famous ink. At the same time Yinchuan city is full of Mussilm Culture. Our first idea was to use the West Xia Helan stone, and as some Chinese techniques we start to work in the stone to create the Islamic pattern . The history of Yinchuan, the tradition of the Chinese Art Stone and the Mussilm Culture were fusion in The Urban Planning Exhibition Centre. It will become a landmark of the history as evidence and will be the starting point of the China and Arab Axis; furthermore, Yinchuan as the historical mission of China's bridge to the Arab world. Uses: The Islamic pattern is used to design the façade, creating at the same time a nice decoration and interior space. The façade will be made with stoned carved and fill it with transparent glasses. In this way, when the illumination at night start, the building will be brighten by itself. The main entrance of the exhibition hall is in the south and the whole building is a complete exhibition space. The atrium founded after cross the main entrance is used to connect each floor and create a big vertical connection space where appreciate and have a good view from the whole museum where is impossible feel lost. The entrance for the administration office is on the west of the building, from this lobby, you can take the elevator to get into the office floor directly, the 4th floor. Vip entrance is located in the north, providing realy nice and relaxing space for the VIP visitors. Sustainable design: Sustainable design is also the core of the project; according to the terrain analysis and the physical environment analysis, the shape of the building is designed as a space polyhedron, in order to reduce the impact of wind, and to avoid the Vortex Generation. We also use the building physics to organize building shape coefficient, window and wall scientific control and efficient use of natural light, Enhance natural ventilation and other means to reduce building heat loss and energy consumption. At the same time, we also incorporates passive energy-saving practices, such as exterior insulation, Hollow Low-E glass, automatic shading system, indoor atrium wind well effect, etc. To achieve the requirements of energy saving and emission reduction. Building physics and passive energy-saving technology, used for this plan, are currently the most advanced energy-saving technology. The characteristics are cost control and effective.
