When Sinpaş set off to perform its first major and urban scale investment in Ankara with the Altın Oran Project, the need for a building to be utilized for the purposes of showcasing the project and as Altın Oran’s Administrative Office in Ankara has emerged. The building would be modern, innovative, solid, environment friendly and reflect the company’s image as a big holding. The design reflects the investor’s characteristic as a company consisting of multiple operations uniting under a single body whereas its rapid growth with the assistance of a large scale team is expressed with a flexible, harmonious and escalating roof. The company’s emphasis on its meticulous care for generating contemporary and environment friendly architectural solutions finds its expression in the building’s form and choice of materials.
The entrance to the building takes place from under a huge eave extending for more than 25 m starting from its connection to the roof and extending over a pond as a reference to the fact that the first cities were settled next to water resources. The giant eave reaching onwards symbolizes the innovation and ideals while the load bearing elements designed resembling a tree form symbolize the fact that these ideals are a result of a solid knowledge with deep roots.
The sales office is located on the ground and 1ST basement floor opening to the space while the administrative offices are located in the upper floors. Administrative floors and the sales office are located under a single structure with a rich visual relationship established between all floors. The roof surface consists of two levels establishing a single and flowing form. The roof is escalated so as to allow an emphasis on the sales gallery and the administrative section and also to allow the office floors to have floor gardens and receive more light.
