Chalet Gsteig was a project for a Swiss client's holiday home in the Alps, which needed light internal refurbishment and redecoration. The colour palette focused strongly on natural materials, textures and fabrics. All the soft furnishings for this project were custom designed for each room. The brief was to create a soft but elegant look.

The chalet consists of three bedrooms and two bathrooms of which one is an en-suite for the master bedroom.

A new wooden floor was fitted throughout and a new kitchen from Italy was fitted, finished in a textured wood that matched and contrasted simultaneously with the wooden walls of the chalet.

The project focused heavily on furniture sourcing and designing custom bedlinens, curtains and other soft furnishings. The headboards for the bedrooms were made in London and shipped to Switzerland, finished in fabric to match the curtains and throws. The cushions ware from England, custom finished with piping to match the bedlinen detailing. The bedlinens were from Italy and were custom designed for the project, from pillow cover edging to the sourcing of the finest linen fabric.

The bedroom side tables were made from reclaimed wood sourced from Canadian barns and custom made to the designer's specification. The armchairs in the bedrooms are from Spain. The heavy wooden side tables in the living room were also custom made to size
