La Casa sul lago di Como | Domenico Morolla

The house is on a private area destined to park, near Lake Como. The villa is on different levels, namely four, from the ground floor for a spa, the mezzanine floor with relaxation function and work with a broad representative office, a close-up intended to living area overlooking the summer accompanied by a 'large infinity pool and a fourth level sleeping area. The architecture is characterized by a form split-level with views of the main view of the lake and overlooks the inside the private park. The architectural form follows the morphology of the area on which it stands, the first level and nestled into the mountain, half of its surface is wrapped by the same and covered in full by local stone, the upper levels are completely coated with white plaster. The large terraces connected to the interior spaces with large windows allow you to have a spatial continuity between the interior and the surrounding nature.
The contemporary architectural lines and the extreme dynamic volumetric characterize this project that remains despite its size remains respectful of the surrounding landscape while remaining in continuous suspension and rotation relative to it, fulfilling what appears to be the goal of my study, create a ' architecture dynamic, not static that coalizzi with nature while maintaining their recognizability.
