The wooden building is integrated into the forest and has two different functional levels.

[ENG] - On May 1st 2013 an innovative hotel concept, the BORA HotSpaResort opens its doors to the public, a first class hotel located in an exclusive position on the west bank of lake Constance in Radolfzell. The four star designer Hotel with 84 rooms and suites is the first of its kind in Germany conceived according to a holistic concept of a Hot Spa. In this wellness world guests experience warmth in all its facets. The future HotSpa arises from the already existing BORA sauna world with direct access to the lake and idyllic lawns for relaxation. It is equipped with Finnish, Ground and Smoke saunas, plus a Kelo sauna, a Sanarium and a steam bath. A unique Japanese Onsen bath, also the first of its kind in Germany, is the finishing touch to the Hot Spa. The comprehensive package of applications offered are dedicated fully to the subject “warmth” This includes both bathing, massages and packings as well as ayurvedic and Balinese treatments such as Thalasso cosmetics. The hotel restaurant and bar serves light, tasty dishes and snacks as well as refreshing drinks. Natural and premium-quality materials such oak wood and linen were widely used in the modern architecture and elegant interior design of the BORA Hot Spa Resort. Unusual colour concepts play with contrasts of subtle and warmly radiating colours. The hotel has, besides a restaurant, a fully glassed Sky Lounge which boasts a phenomenal 180° lake view. In addition two seminar rooms and a working group room provide professional surroundings for meetings and trainings. Ample parking spaces in the underground garage are also available for the guests. The prices start from 165 euros for 2 persons in a double room per night inclusive breakfast and entrance to the Hot Spa. Moving to another mountain, this time in Switzerland, the peak of Säntis may be reached by cable car in just 10 minutes from the base station. Säntis is the highest mountain in eastern Switzerland. From the top visitors can see on a clear day six different countries; Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Lichtenstein, France and Italy. In Sealife, Constance, visitors can observe over 3000 kinds of fish and marine animals. Sport Both beginners and advanced mariners can set sail on one of the 15 yachts and dinghies at the Radolfzell sailing school. The surfing areal with its surfing school in Radolfzell offers both the classical boards as well as the trendy “stand up” paddle boards. Radolfzell also boasts the largest climbing centre in the region. Even in bad weather conditions enthusiasts can practice in the climbing hall in town. The Constance Golfclub with its wonderful view over the lake from the greens belongs to one of the oldest established golf clubs in Baden Würtemberg. The Wiechs Golfclub is ideal for players wanting to enjoy a scottish ambience. In the country club Schloss Langenstein, the players tee off at the Langenstein Golfclub in traditional english style. Last but not least the club in Owingen-Überlingen, with its relaxing leisurely atmosphere is said to be the Insider tip for golfing guests. Boat Trips Over 40 destinations can be reached by boat or ferry from the docking area directly in Radolfzell. Since 2006 the towns of Constance and Friedrichshafen are linked by a highly modern catamaran service..The two “Cats” travelling at speeds up to 20 knots quickly bring their guests over the lake. Culture The history of Radolfzell goes back nearly 1200 years. The life of the fisherman or the development of the wine growing is interestingly explained in the guided tours in the town and the fishing and wine growing still remains important up to today. Visitors to Meersburg take a trip back into the middle ages, ambling along the cobbled streets of the old town or looking around Germanys oldest castle residence. . The Bregenzer Festspiele (an open air theatre) holds performances every year in July and August. The lake provides an astounding natural backdrop to this spectacular stage on the water. It is the largest of its kind in the world! The Hohentwiel festival in july is one of the oldest open air festivals in South Germany. The concert with national and international artists takes place among the ruins of the famous castle and attracts over 35000 visitors every year. Shopping The Seemaxx in Radolfzell is the only factory outlet store in the lake Constance region. Famous brands are offered at moderate prices over the 4500m2 area.
