"One Shot" was born of the need to reintroduce the use of bicycles in everyday life, in the attempt to fit it into the complex network of public transport, especially trains and subways. In this perspective a collaboration with the Alstom company was born. Alstom is a world leader company in the transportation sector, which is very careful about social changes. As a matter of fact it focused on the intermodal mobility in order to facilitate the users in every moment of their way. “One Shot” is composed of an aluminum frame, joint by two pins which permit that the bicycle could be bent and re opened with a rapid and solid locking system. Despite the mechanical complexity , the design is clean, thanks to the fairings on the frame. So, One Shot solves an esthetics problem, typical of folding bikes, since it cover all the elements that could hitch on when you move on foot and that could get the users’ clothes dirty when bending the bike. Also, the fairings can be treated in surface, offering infinite possibilities of personalization on order to fully satisfy all the market requirements.
