[ENG] - The challenge is to create an overall spatial experience for this restaurant of being sophisticated yet affordable. The dining area is confined within a singular space just like a room, to go beyond the physical limitation on the size of the restaurant, we draw inspiration from the Dutch artist, Maurits Cornelis Escher to transform the “room” into an engaging place. With the use of architectural components such as windows, balconies and staircases as the basic ingredient for making this spatial order. These components are constructed onto the ceiling and to the walls that wraps around the entire room. Loft-style is applied to the interior furnishing for bringing diners an idyllically homely dining experience to creating a “room” context. This design takes a contemporary elaboration on the spatial structure so as to arise the emotions of the consumer and to establish a brand new relationship between people and food space.
