After boycotted its construction in the city of Fortaleza (outside the norm) finally had chances to build it for a client of Parnaíba in Piauí fishing village in coastal area where I lived. Built in the most primitive process, rammed earth, covered with carnauba straw, its sculptural form recalls the sails of the canoes used by fishermen. The word loft was not even there but the concept of all embedded spaces yes, and it was the year 1978. Its white walls rescued and honored the work of Brazilian master Oscar Niemeyer. After years then to my surprise the book ART IN BRAZIL carrying a test architecture of Oscar Niemeyer, he regaled me with a whole page with this same design. Things destination!
