GEL is a “green” building dedicated to research activities on sustainable HVAC technologies, built inside the Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The building is composed by three floors with a total surface of 1500 sqm and a maximum height of 18.15 m. The first two floors will host laboratories and offices, while the third floor is arranged as a residential space to simulate residential living conditions. The building will be certificated according to LEED standard obtaining a Gold Level Certification.
