The restaurant Fortezza was built around the XIXth century bunker. The main idea was to stress the "beauty" of old red bricks and the most important object of the restaurant, its heart: the brick pizza oven. The concept that was used by the designer was a frame. The bunker as the piece of history was supposed to be framed as it was exposed in a museum. Thus the frame was consequently repeated in other parts of the building, also the neighbouring hotel.
