Interior designer Charlotte Crosland transforms a tired looking family house in South West London into a sleek and stylish home to suit the busy lives of owners Steve and Sarah Bailey and their three teenage children. Says Charlotte: “My clients lived in the house for a year before calling me in to quote for a full makeover. The interior of the house was indeed fairly tired and certainly in need of a new look. My brief was to re-organise the ground floor giving them an area for the kids to be doing their homework, watching TV etc. whilst not being cut off from the kitchen. I was also given the satisfying job of creating a more grown up separate drawing room for the adults. The rest of the house was to be completely re-designed to give it a smarter, classier look but to still keep it as a home to be enjoyed by the whole family."
