ZenithBarter Office is an office layout project realized on a full story of the Leven Oytek Plaze with an area of 1008 m2 reflecting company’s innovative and entrepreneurship spirit, keeping employee’s productivity in front plan.
The office, located on a single story, is separated from the entrance into two sections as administration and offices. This separation ensures both the hierarchy of the place and prevents interfusing of the amusing character on the open office side with the serious and institutional atmosphere in the administrative section.
Starting with the idea to place a venue of a certain scale numerous functions, it is preferred to benefit from the colors in the human and place perception instead of creating fixed walls and confined spaces. For this purpose, motorized curtains are preferred for the separation of areas swings i.e. meeting, seminar and indoor offices, while color differences and functional funny details i.e. suspended plants, colored swings and abacus are preferred in order to ensure the separation of the walking ways and open offices from each other.
During the design stage for the solution in respect of the ceiling high, while this was one of the hugest complications, suspended ceilings were used for confined areas i.e. indoor offices and walking ways, and for area i.e. broader meeting, lounge, resting, seminar, open offices suspended ceilings are avoided and electric, mechanic installations were left exposed and thus comfortable spaces resulting from a difference place perception are created.
The area at the entrance, where the electrical board, fire cabinet and ups is located and which is another of design-related obstacle, is designed compliant with the colors of the open office and hidden behind 3 secretive doors ensuring a passage from the warmth of technical details to an entertaining atmosphere.
In the project, in which the idea to create a pleasant working environment is adopted as a design preference, special spaces are created i.e. the lounge area outside the open office, indoor office, meeting and manager rooms, for banqueting; the resting area, where photo shootings can be made;, a memory wall, which we named during the design as “Time Machine” and where the employees can share their photos the shoot; game and seminar area, where the daily stress can be get rid-off, and independent areas are created, which the employees need in order generate new ideas.
