Mosque | AYDIN UÇAR

The design contained contextually elements that's refers Islam. The plan sit on a eight pointed star. One square stayed at plane that established the ground and the other one rise up and creates the mosque. The simple cube made from two skin one of them is glass and the other one is concrete with eight point star. Also the eight point star is the symbols of the 4 caliphate and 4 great angel. The 5 step are the 5 requirements for Islam that lead to the entrance. There is a small pool on front the entrance the symbolize the zamzam water and the birth of Islam. The entrance with black stone symbolize Kaaba and the boundary between world and eternity. The great pool which surround the mosque symbolize the expanding of Islam.
