Soho Beach House Miami is the third Soho House club in the US, situated just north of South Beach, Opened in October 2010, Soho Beach House Miami is situated on the site of the old Sovereign Hotel. The hotel originally built in 1941, is an art deco building which has been completely refurbished, expanded and revitalised. The Beach House has formed a haven away from the hustle and bustle of South Beach and includes 50 rooms providing some of the best views Miami has to offer. Soho Beach House Miami continues with its same signature Soho House style, with a fresh take on Cuban 40’s glamour. Each of Soho Beach House Miami’s 50 rooms are different; in addition to the authentic furniture from the era, there is also every mod-con, providing a home from home atmosphere. The first floor comprises of a pool where private air-conditioned cabanas and open lounge beds for sunning await both club members and hotel guests, at the extensive 100-foot-long infinity edge pool. A 60 meter-long private space exists between the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean, where members can rest on lounge beds and beach huts while sipping cold drinks. Just steps away the Tiki Bar, encased in a lush elevated private garden, offers a secluded sanctuary for dining with an outdoor cinema. Located on the ground floor, Cecconi’s is a modern-day classic Italian restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. Upon entering Cecconi’s, guests will find a traditional wood-paneled Art Deco space that includes part of Soho House’s art collection, as well as a Cuban-style wine tasting bar housing a collection of rare cigars. The bar is situated in the courtyard, which is covered with a fully retractable awning and canopied by trees. With outposts in London and West Hollywood, Cecconi’s has become a critically acclaimed dining destination. With a focus on sourcing the finest quality ingredients and maintaining affordability, Cecconi’s features a menu of simply prepared, Venetian influenced food and drink, offering an entirely new dining experience in Miami. The Club Bar pays homage to a traditional 1940’s Cuban lounge and the luxurious indoor-outdoor second floor lounge and tropical pool area comes complete with unrivalled views of Miami Beach and Biscayne Bay. The plush screening snug offers private movies screenings before the films are open to the public, and is available for private events. With guest rooms designed for the highest quality of comfort, many of the House’s bedrooms feature king-sized beds, full bars equipped with Italian espresso machines, rainforest showers, signature Cowshed products and complimentary Wi-Fi access. A select group of rooms also offer in-room bathtubs and peaceful private terraces overlooking the clear blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Located on the eighth floor, the Club Lounge creates a private, comfortable space with lounge seating, wood panelling, sofas, bookcases and dining tables that will also host members’ events. On the top floor, the property’s Penthouse is an open space designed for private events and the unit’s expansive balcony includes bountiful seating and an outdoor hot tub to relax and take in 360-degree views. The clubs second pool, situated on the roof overlooks Biscayne Bay and is surrounded by side tables and fans to keep members cool. The floor also has its own towel station and showers with an adjacent bar. One of the unique feature of Soho Beach House Miami is its extensive art collection. A number of the pieces in Soho Beach House are the product of artists based in or originally from Miami. These include Hernan Bas, Jose Parla, Aaron Young and Jim Drain. The collection also includes respected American artists such as Elizabeth Peyton, Glenn Ligon and Jack Pierson as well as big name British artists such as Douglas Gordon, Noble and Webster. Cowshed Spa Soho Beach House Miami also houses a Cowshed Spa located on the first and second floors and is accessible to members, hotel guests and the public by appointment. The spa features spacious ocean front areas for manicures and pedicures, five private treatment rooms and alcoves as well as changing facilities, blow drying and styling services. A sauna and a private eucalyptus steam room complete the facilities. Indulgent treatments include the Hot Stone Massage, Vitamin C Facials, Shiatsu, Cowshed Body Wrap and Collagen Eye Treatments. Groups can book Pretty Parties for special occasions complete with private treatments and dinner and wine for a night of pampering and relaxation. If you’re feeling a little more energetic the House’s health and fitness center features floor-to-ceiling windows, state-of-the-art equipment and a refreshment station to help keep guests hydrated throughout their workout. Grey Goose As the featured spirit of Soho Beach House Miami, Grey Goose exclusive cocktail experiences will be offered to guests as unique taste, exclusive to Soho House. These include One While Changing – personal, in-room mixology is available to all guests. A dedicated mixologist on each floor is available to make Grey Goose cocktails for guests in-room while they prepare for a night out in Miami. A signature Grey Goose Cocktail Menu has also been created exclusively for Soho Beach House Miami. Soho House was founded in London, in 1995, as a private members’ club for those in the film, media and creative industries. The group has gradually expanded to include Houses across Europe and North America as well as restaurants, cinemas, spas and hotels. There are 11 clubs in total - including the original Soho House, Babington House in Somerset, Electric House, High Road House, Shoreditch House, Little House Mayfair, Soho House Berlin, Soho House New York, Soho House West Hollywood, Soho Beach House Miami and Soho House Toronto (Babington, High Road, Shoreditch, Berlin, New York and Miami also host hotel rooms). In 2009, Soho House launched its first standalone hotel, Dean Street Townhouse, hosting 39 bedrooms and an all-day restaurant. The Soho House portfolio includes 14 public restaurants to date; Boheme Kitchen Bar, Café Boheme, Cecconi’s, Cecconi’s Miami Beach, Cecconi’s West Hollywood, Chicken Shop, Dean Street Townhouse, Dirty Burger, Electric Diner, High Road Brasserie, Hoxton Grill, Pizza East Shoreditch, Pizza East Kentish Town, Pizza East Portobello. There are four further Soho Houses properties planned including, Mumbai, Istanbul Chicago, Barcelona.
