The project for the interiors of the new Minotti Mexico City monobrand store curated by Hajj Designless in the city’s Avenida Javier Barros Serra, has just been completed. The showroom occupies a floorspace of 300 sq.m over two floors. The interiors, based on a project by Minotti Studio, are dominated by materials such as gray stone with natural finish which was used for the flooring and wood for the wall paneling. The result is an elegantly executed space, the centerpiece of which is a stone and metal staircase that connects the two levels to great effect. The various settings host standout pieces from Minotti’s collections, starting with best-sellers such as the Hamilton and Donovan sofas, as well as a long list of products from the 2012/Collection: the Powell and Sherman seating systems, the Prince and Gilliam armchairs and a vast selection of furnishing accessories. A major exhibition space will be given over to the 2013 collection by Rodolfo Dordoni which was launched at the Milan Salone del Mobile, and is about to debut in Mexico City. The Mexico City store by Hajj Designless brings the number of Minotti monobrand stores around the world to 30, with others due to open next year.
