No doubt, the basis of the inspiration for this project goes through the sensibility of the territory, the natural environment. An environment as wild as the Peruvian coastal desert, reflecting a plain cloak an infinite canvas of sand that day is modified with green brush with olive plantations, subtly changing the landscape, slowly, as if asking permission the territory to remain there forever. With this preliminary data, the infinite wilderness and the young plantations of olive trees, was to receive a built environment, the mill. The challenge was to situated the project subtly in this vast landscape without damaging it. I was inspired by the textures and colors of the references that the nature offers in the area, creating a color mixture with several pictures, I could identify the tones and textures that should have the project. They then reflect on the materiality, which should be pure, faithful to the mix, austere, regional and sustainable. This was achieved with local stone, exposed concrete, wood and steel ventilated facades cut into the three main volumes, materials that resist very aggressive conditions Paracas winds in the area. Also sensed that the first blocks built in the desert are small boxes, mats and could represent the three volumes of the production system, united by glass blowers. The facade is born from the inspiration of the diagonals fugal planting lines and above all a reference to the ruins of the Temple of Viracocha. Everything explained demonstrates a profound sensitivity to the project and certainly I leave the territory belonging and there will be accompanying and monitoring subtly.
