The project is located in the basement of an old mansion, characterized by the absence of light and a severe atmosphere: dark stone walls and ceilings subtract air.
In this context wine bar opens with a young and sophisticated audience, fashion-conscious and always looking for new trends. So the challenge of the project becomes to transform these rooms into a space for convivial, enjoyable, and at the same time surprising.
The character of basement remains as a matrix of the project to create a dream situation that invokes the nature and the earth through an interplay of light typical of the forest and references to elements of nature.
By taking the opportunity to immerse themselves in the underground in a fantasy world, you go down into the ground to find a dream and entertainment, a sort of forest of wonders, in which leave the everyday life and relax with friends. A series of out of scale and uncoordinated elements specially want to alienate the mind from the usual rooms furnished with soothing consistency, looking for a common thread: ideas that put some questions to the observer, who leave amazed and allow him to get lost.
Among the various factors you notice the panels that have been imprinted with bucolic images, it takes a giant scale that allude to playfulness, irony to a throne that grants table, huge chairs enclosing small spaces and various magical symbols that appear in several places such as hearts, spades, clubs and diamonds of the wall panel and seats.
Some books speak with their huge images of fairy tales and poems, a wooden table, from a single trunk, refer to the most archaic forms of nature, the ceiling lamps with silk-screened leaves and branches, the booths built with trunks of lacquered wood, the bar counter is characterized by a country grid .... Visual assumed great importance in view of the cellar which becomes a sort of forest. The gray scales greenish together with the colors of the wood with lighting to create a cozy area, an interpretation of furniture that engages the imagination of the observer.
As well as the careful selection of wines of this local leads to propose eco-friendly and organic products, all materials and processes are eco-friendly: natural paints from the panels of raw paper, tables and chairs built by craftsmen using local materials ...

Il progetto è collocato nelle cantine di un’antica dimora signorile, caratterizzate da assenza di luce e da un’ atmosfera severa: buie pareti in sasso e soffitti sottraggono aria all’ambiente.
In questo contesto apre un’ enoteca che si rivolge ad un pubblico giovane dal gusto sofisticato, attento alle tendenze e sempre alla ricerca di nuove tendenze. Così la sfida del progetto diventa quella di trasformare questi vani in uno spazio dall’atmosfera conviviale, piacevole e allo stesso tempo sorprendente.
Il carattere cupo dell’interrato rimane come matrice del progetto per creare un ambiente onirico che richiami la natura e la terra tramite un gioco di luci tipico del sottobosco ed elementi della natura incontaminata.
Si coglie l’opportunità del sotterraneo per calarsi in un mondo fantastico; si scende nel sottosuolo per trovare una realtà di sogno e di svago: una sorta di bosco delle meraviglie, in cui lasciarsi la quotidianità alle spalle e rilassarsi in compagnia di amici. Una serie di fuori scala e di elementi scoordinati vogliono appositamente allontanare la mente dai soliti locali arredati con tranquillizzante coerenza, cercando un filo conduttore concettuale: spunti che pongano degli interrogativi all’osservatore, che lo lascino stupito e gli permettano di perdersi di volta in volta tra i vari oggetti.
Tra i diversi elementi si notano i pannelli retroilluminati a cui sono state impresse immagini bucoliche, le carte in scala gigante che alludono alla ludicità, un trono che concede ironia alla tavolata, sedie ingigantite che racchiudono piccoli spazi magici e svariati simboli che compaiono in più punti, come cuori, picche, fiori e quadri della boiserie e delle sedute.
Alcuni libri enormi parlano con le loro immagini di fiabe e di poesie, un tavolo in legno grezzo, proveniente dalla lavorazione di un solo tronco, rimanda alle forme più arcaiche della natura, le lampade a soffitto serigrafate con foglie e rami, i separè costruiti con tronchi di legno laccato, il banco bar caratterizzato da una rete country …. Grande importanza visiva assunta dalla cantina a vista che diventa una sorta di selva. Si passa alle immagini sui pannelli retroilluminati, che contengono scale di grigi tendenti al verde e ai colori del bosco, così da creare assieme all’ illuminazione, uno spazio raccolto, un’interpretazione dell’arredo che impegni l'immaginazione dell'osservatore.
Così come l’attenta ricerca dei vini di questo locale porta a proporre produzioni ecosostenibili e biologiche, tutti i materiali e le lavorazioni sono eco-compatibili: dalle vernici naturali ai pannelli su carta grezza, tavoli e sedie costruiti da artigiani con materiali locali…
