The project concerns an intervention of a part of the northern seafront of the Island of Aegina that stretches from the archaeological site of the Tomb of Salaminomachon to the famous Lighthouse (Faros) area. The proposal reflects on the problems that exist in this area, by designing a pedestrian path "promenade", that will accommodate all the existing activities such as jogging, cycling and easy access to the neglected surrounding beaches. This walk will be the mean for the connection of all the focal point of the route, a cultural network (Archeological Site, Kazantzakis house, Kapralos Museum, Moralis house). The new pedestrian route is consisted of precast concrete modules that are laid on the ground with the minimum footprint respecting this way the existing iconic topography of the Island of Aegina.
