Commissioned in 1949 and owned by the original family for 60 years, the Gelb House is one of the least modified of any in Jones’ Mutual Housing Association. Our rehabilitation philosophy has been one of a light hand: We have left the post-and-beam and shell unaltered while coaxing back to vigor systems, finishes, kitchen, bathroom and landscape.
