"The line is the most boring path between two points".
Cloudbridge is a project that merges computational techniques with a visionary and provocative approach which considers architecture as a part of natural landscape. The project is influenced by the 60's avant-garde (in particular by the italian team Superstudio) and by most recent iconic architectures like the Serpentine Pavilion 2013 designed by Sou Fujimoto. The path between two points, located on opposite sides, offers an exciting experience, a journey suspended between sky and mountains. A specific algorithm computes a cloud-shape grid which bears and balances the asymmetric loads of the footbridge.
