Born in 1969, architect. After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at Poznań Technical University, he joined one of Poznań’s architect offices to work on urban designs, the concepts of housing estates and public buildings. Piotr Kuchciński has dealt with graphic designs and illustrated books, and now he also designs houses and residential interiors. However, his main activity is designing furniture. For many years he has been cooperating with Polish producers of furniture, mainly with Balma and NOTI. He was awarded “Designer of the year 2012” by the Institute of Industrial Design in Poland. His designs receive various awards in international competitions and are presented both in Poland and abroad.
