Phil grew up on the stunning Lleyn peninsula in North Wales before moving to Cardiff to complete his Undergraduate and Masters degree at The Welsh School of Architecture (WSA).
From 2007 – 2008, he worked as a teaching assistant to the MA Urban Design programme at the WSA whilst undertaking an MPhil research degree on the potential for temporary urbanism in the post-industrial Rhondda Valley, South Wales.
