Paola Angelini, after being a foreigner student at the School of Architecture of the University of Arkansas, graduated with honours in Architecture at the University of Rome, where she later awarded a postgraduate diploma in Landscape and Public Space Design. In 2008 she won a research fellowship at the ITACA Department, at “La Sapienza” University of Rome. The beginning of her career leads her in Rome, where she collaborated with international multidisciplinary teams. During this experience she combined a work of constant research on contemporary architecture approaches with a sustainable landscape design development. She has been taken some lectures at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome about the recovery of waste land and post-industrial sites. Since 2006 she practiced professionally at SCP&Partners and Costa-Cubellis as architect being involved in big areas reconstruction and large architectural and urban projects across Italy, PRC and UAE. In 2009 she starts working with OfCA as project manager on several projects mostly about reuse and recovery of abandoned spaces, involved also in a major urban design study with EUASIA Ltd across PRC and Saudi Arabia. In 2010 she founded PAED.
