Born in Michigan, she studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and worked as an Interior Designer in Dallas and New York until she came to Spain in 1972. She developed several projects before opening her first furniture shop in Girona (1984) followed by the one in Barcelona (1986). She has created chairs and sofas such as ‘Gilda’, selected by SIDI, ‘Nancy’, awarded with the Premio Anual de Diseño Español or the Teatre de Girona’s stall (INDUSTRIAS FIGUERAS 1992). Besides Interiors and Design projects, she has created together with other designers, NR design Collection: a collection of objects that span from jewellery to lighting or home accessories.
