Mi Jung Lim was born in Seoul, Korea. After graduating with B.S from Yonsei University, she received her B.Arch from Rhode Island School of Design and M.Arch from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. She has won awards in several design competitions and was the project leader of the Harvard KGSD team invited to produce a ‘REST BOX’ for the Gwangju Design Biennale 2009. She was recently selected as a winner for Young Architects + Designers Prize by Architectural League of New York (2012), Little Free Library: New Idea City of New York (2013), Centennial River Boat Pavilion Competition (Louisville, KY), Life at the Speed of Rail Design Competition (Van Alen Institute, NY), and was shortlisted in Wynwood Gate Way Park Design Competition (Miami, FL), Folly Design Competition (NY), and 10th China Creative Garden Expo (Wuhan). Mi Jung is a registered architect in the state of New York. She worked at office DA in Boston and Andrew Berman Architect in New York.
