Massimiliano Maggio was born in Rome, Italy, where he spent most of his life designing pool tables for the family business. He later redirected his activity to concentrate on teaching design at LABA University, in Florence.

In 2000, moved back to the factory head office and assumed the position of Creative Director, working with the creative team to define the overall image and positioning of the Brand, including all product categories, communication strategies and marketing planning. In that same time, he started working on his ultimate project, Pool table Revolution , a very unique pool table, liftable, which was meant to break down barriers, and allow disabled people to share the game with everyone.

During Massimiliano Maggio 18 years as Creative Director at sales increased, making the company one of the largest and most profitable luxury brands in the world. He launched on the market the iconic Ziggurat Pool table, a cult in Massimiliano Maggio’s Luxury Collection, still no. 1 in the top rank of luxury billiards sales, worldwide.

In 2017, Massimiliano Maggio, announced the creation of Osprey Billiards LLC, to distribute both the brands (Luxury Pool Table and Home living collection) in the U.S.A.In January 2018, he first directly owned flagship store opened in in Osprey (FL), at 3976 Destination Drive and coincided with the introduction on the market of the dealerships with four of the most representative luxury shops in the U.S.A.

In April 2018, at the very exclusive venue of Salone del Mobile (in Milan), Massimiliano Maggio presented to the world the ultime edition of Revolution M999, in partnership with Vitrociset Spa ( in charge of the Software Development). M999, give a knock to home automation, featuring automated control of lighting, table’s height, sounds, heating, connected to the remote control or controlled by an innovative Vocal App through the Smartphone.
