Markus Bischof
Markus Bischof trained as a joiner and studied product design. For two years, he coined the new design of the Trumpf punching machine. He opened his design office in Nuremberg, Germany, in 2010. Since then, he has come up with over 300 concepts, designs and products for a great variety of industries that have received numerous international design awards and prizes.

Markus believes that what makes a product successful is its identity and handling. In his opinion, a good product should drum up enthusiasm, have a long-term market presence, make clever use of production processes, go easy on the resources, exploit the present and future possibilities available to the manufacturer and consider the economic feasibility for the company.

A measure in sensitivity, the integration of honest emotion, the proximity and long-distance effect and the correct choice of materials are crucial impulses of his work. He assumes criteria like function and innovation to the creation process.

His credo „Products beyond function!“ and „FUNctional design!“
