B.Sc(Hons), PG.Dip, M.Arch. ARB

Mark studied Architecture at the University of Strathclyde. Prior to joining NORD in 2007, Mark worked for RMJM Architects in Glasgow where he gained extensive experience in the Residential and Commercial sectors as a key team member on the delivery of two Glasgow City Centre Residential Schemes and High Rise Office development.

As a senior architect within NORD, Mark’s understanding, interest and passion for materials, technological innovation, detail and craftsmanship is something that has underpinned his working practice. This can be reflected in the multi award winning Shingle House in Dungeness where, in 2010, Mark took on the role of project Architect. Key to Mark’s role was delivering the project on budget while maintaining a focus on the design quality, craftsmanship and detail.

Mark has expertise and extensive knowledge necessary for the development and documentation of large projects and design team management and has successfully coordinated a number of sensitive city centre planning applications which dealt with grade A, B and C Listed Buildings.

Mark has been a design studio tutor for the under-graduate course and is a regular invited review panel guest at the University of Strathclyde.
