Maria Joao Domingues

In 2000, she joined the team of Professor Antonio Ruiz Barbarin’s architecture studio in Madrid, also an associate professor of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid.
During 11 years, after graduation, she worked for Parque EXPO'98, first, on the rise and urban consolidation of the “Parque das Nações”, and, later, in 2004, within the International Projects Department (DPI), namely developing projects in Brazil.
Since 2012 she makes part of the team HighPlan Portugal in the areas of architecture, urban develpment and regional planning as senior partner in the international market with main focus in preserve the identity of city's, culture and sustainability.
In the Project Development Division, she works in research and analysis of urban spatial planning and management. She enjoys landscape design and all forms of art and traveling.
