My name is Maria Aucejo and I founded my homonymous studio in 2018 between Barcelona and Valencia, cities between which I never stop moving. I am a registered architect at the Col·legi Oficial d'Arquitectes de Catalunya who studied at the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/Eindhoven), The Netherlands and at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Valencia (ETSAV, Universitat Politècnica de València).
My work is characterized by the fluidity of the creative process according to the needs of each project, the study of context and inherited landscape. I reconcile in my practice work projects with writing and theoretical research. I have projected from residential and commercial spaces to exhibitions and theatrical scenery, with special care in the most human scale and the absence of prejudices.
