Margarita Viarnés. Borned in Figueres (Girona) 1965. She achieved her interior studies at the school 'Elisava' the year 1987. In the 'Llotja' obtained the title the year 1988. First professionals experiences 'Estudio Josep Melo, 'Estudio de Arquitectura Ramón Farré', 'Estudio de interiorismo Pepe Cortés' and 'Estudio Nancy Robbins. In 1991 she founded her own interior company 'Estudio de interiorismo Margarita Viarnés & Rossend Cortés' and Industrial Design Margarita Viarnés in Barcelona and Figueres (Girona). Some awards and mentions obtained: 2nd National Award Feria del Mueble for the auxiliary table Blas (1985), First award 'ex aequo' Feria del mueble for the design Serpentina (1987), selected at the National desging competition Feria del mueble for Punto de luz Torxa , silloncito and banqueta Carmen (1989), Honourable Mention for the Feria del mueble for the stand Empresa Rafemar, selected for the Award Fad Industrial Design for the chair Crisis (1994), Opinion Award of the magazine Diseño Interior (1996) and first award for the projects compatition of the Federación Catalana (1997). Participated in the exposition 'Muestra de diseño español en Brasil' (Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia i Sao Paolo (1996), and in the spanish design for the companies in Atenas (Greece) , 2001.
