Marco Serra
Marco Serra, Italian, was born in Zurich in 1970. He studied Architecture under Prof. Hans Kollhoff at the Federal Insitute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, graduating in 1996. He worked in the office of Prof. Adrian Meyer in Baden from 1996 to 1999 and for Diener & Diener Architekten in Basel from 1999 to 2002. Since 2003 he has worked in Basel at Novartis as the Curator of the Novartis Campus Masterplan. From 2002-2005 he was the design architect responsible for the Main Gate and Car Park project of the Novartis Campus in Basel. Since 2006 he has been the design architect responsible for the conversion project of Abadia Santa Maria de Retuerta into a Luxury Hotel in Valladolid, Spain.
From 2014 he's the "Global Novartis Chief Architect"
