After graduating from Milan Polytechnic, Marco Della Torre (b. 1962) moved to California where he worked firstly for the Fernau & Hartmann studio and later at the Stanley Saitowitz studio. Since 1997, the marcodellatorre-studio has had its headquarters in Milan, and during this time, Marco Della Torre has created projects at an international level, such as the decor and designs for art galleries, foundations and modern art museums (for example, the Prada-Milano Foundation, KUB Kunstmuseum-Bregenz, Deitch Projects Gallery-New York, Museum of Contemporary Art- Castello di Rivoli-Turin, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, Biennale Arte-Venice, and Fundació Joan Miró-Barcelona). He has created designs and works for artists of international renown and has collaborated with curators such as Germano Celant, Ida Gianelli and Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev. Since 2001 Marco Della Torre, as well as holding some important seminars, has been teaching at the Milan New Academy of Fine Arts. He has been a teacher at the Design and Arts Faculty at the IUAV University in Venice and at the Milan IULM. Free University of Languages and Communications.
