Magdalena Bach, an architect with passion and talent for elegant, contemporary architecture and interior design. Studied Architecture and Urban Design in Poland and Denmark, worked many years as an architect in Scandinavia and since 2009 is a Principal of Bach Design Studio in Atlanta, GA. Her projects are characterized by harmony and elegance, importance of natural light, seamless flow between outdoor and indoor spaces, use of sustainable materials and care for detail.

In 2017 her project of a Mountain retreat in North Carolina received American Institute of Architects Merit Award.

“My architectural roots are in Scandinavian architecture and its best traditions. I have a big interest and passion in contemporary, minimalistic design, simplicity and honesty in construction and materials, harmonic counterbalance of proportions and the use of natural light to create seamless indoor/outdoor spaces.”

Since 2009 Bach Design Studio has produced a range of works encompassing architecture, interior design and industrial design. Two of studio’s projects were exhibited on Modern Atlanta Festival’s Home Tour, and architectural jewelry design done by Magda is the signature jewelry of the new Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL. Magda is on the review board for the School of Architecture at Kennesaw State University, GA where she was a faculty member in 2011-12.
