Lucia Lehrer (b. 1982) studied industrial design at the Bratislava Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Her diploma work — a collection of kites called Rotoair — won a Slovak National Design Award in 2011. Although her first steps after completing her studies took her towards interior design, she found her calling in the field of product design, where she created an LED lighting collection while simultaneously dedicating herself to designing street furniture for mmcité.
