2006 Italian Gold Medal for Architecture finalist Triennale Milano
Masters Degree in Architecture at the University of Venezia (5yrs) -First class honours (1st)- Erasmus in Paris, and my Postgraduated Diploma (2yrs) in Conservation and Maintenance of historical and modern buildings, my lucky workshop with Alvaro Siza Vieira, combined with my 26 years of practical and management experience, as visionary talented Architect Director of Architecture, specialising predominantely in the development of large scale projects in various environments, gaining national and international awards.

My research is focused on the concept of the project, sustainability and, over last years, on the mitigation of urban heat islands, on green Hospitals, Hotels and Airports.
MAIN INTERESTS
WATER and RAIN and its uses;
SUSTAINABLE design, renewable materials and energy;
URBAN RESILIENCE and MITIGATION OF URBAN HEAT ISLANDS.
