Lior Avitan, an artistic stills photographer, was born in Israel in 1974 and graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. In his 15 years as a professional photographer, he has collaborated with renowned French photographer Frederic Brenner within IPWP (Israel: Portrait of a Work In Progress) - an international project based in Israel, involving well known photographers such as Thomas Struth, Jeff Wall, and Joseph Koudelka, among others. His recent work includes photo shoots for contractors, architects and interior designers. Among his projects are private houses, industrial buildings and building complexes. His curious nature finds Lior constantly exploring new fields in photography, including developing his version of the Time-Lapse technique. In his work, Lior aims to combine artistic and the documentary photography. His work reveals a unique point of view and uncompromising results.
