Li Xiaodong graduated from the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University in 1984 and completed his PhD at Delft/Eindhoven University of Technology in 1993. He established Li Xiaodong Atelier in 1997, and his work ranges from interiors, to architecture, to urban spaces. His Yuhu Elementary School project is one of his best-known works. Currently, he is a professor at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, in Beijing.
