Leonard Kadid
Leonard Kadid (1987) is a French architect and product designer based in Paris, France. He studied at the Polytechnic School of Lausanne EPFL in Switzerland and the Architecture School EAVT in Paris. In 2011 his Bookmark Lamp was exhibited in China for the first Beijing International Design Triennial curated by Benjamin Loyauté. He graduated in 2012 as an architect from the Architecture School EAVT in Paris. In 2013 he was invited by the Poldi Pezzoli Museum to be part of the exhibition Around The Book during the Milan Design Week. His architecture diploma was displayed in 2014 at the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in Paris in the exhibition Futurs Immédiats. In January 2016 his Möja Lamp was shown for the first time at the International Furniture Fair Maison & Objet in Paris and shortly after in June 2016 his suspension lamp Orbiter was part of the Swiss exhibition Superprojekt curated by Matylda Krzykowski during Art Basel. In 2017 he was responsible for the scenography of the exhibition Réinventer la Seine at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal in Paris, where he developed a new table system Tal. As an architect, he used to work for renowned offices such as Cigüe and Dominique Perrault in Paris, Herzog & de Meuron and Caesar Zumthor in Basel, Switzerland.
