Kenneth Cobonpue hails from Cebu who first studied in 1987 at Pratt Institute in New for a degree in Industrial Design. Afterwich he went to Italy and worked as an apprentice for a leather and wood workshop. His stint in Italy led him to go to Germany to study studied Furniture Marketing and Production. In 1996, the young designer went back to his hometown and managed the company of his mother Interior Craft of The Islands Inc. It is then where he worked on fuse modern design concepts with indigenous fibers and materials. His designs were praised and given awards abroad.
