J O N A T H A N H E N D R Y BA (Hons) Dip Arch, ARB, RIBA, was born in 1971. Having graduated from the University of North London in 1996 under the tutelage of Florian Beigel and Peter St.John he then joined the ARU working for Florian Beigel as an assistant on urban regeneration projects in Leipzig, East Germany and Southwark, London. He was commended an RIBA silver medal award in 1996. In 1997 he joined Allies and Morrison working on a number of winning competitions and award winning buildings such as Wynford House, London, Low density housing, Horniman Museum, London, Student Halls of Residence, Jesus College, Cambridge and an office building, Brindley Place, Birmingham. In 1998 he joined Jamie Fobert Architects working on small scale domestic projects and a concept shop for Aveda which has gone world wide. In 2000 he established Jonathan Hendry Architects. Jonathan Hendry is currently a Design Fellow at Cambridge University alongside Mark Tuff of Sergison Bates Architects. He has been invited as a guest critic to Leicester de Montfort, Nottingham Trent University and London Met. He was an RIBA regional awards judge in 2008 and wrote a weekly column in the Architects Journal from 2007-2008.
