After graduating from Art Center College of Design in 1998 and a brief career infreelance illustration, John Ford opened a cnc-based design and fabrication studiowhere up until 3 years ago, the focus of the studio was to help conceive and create xtures for residential and commercial use on a custom, one-o basis. After receiving a highlypositive response to showing at ICFF 2012, the studio’s focus has shifted it’s primaryfocus to that of designing high-end furniture for residential and contract markets. Currentlymy work life is divided by teaching digitial process based fabrication at Art Center anddesigning new work at the studio.
